What is drop-in child care?
Drop-in child care is a pay-by-the-hour, flexible use service available to busy parents! Green Kids offers drop-in care for children age 12 months (and walking) to 12 years with extended late night and weekend hours so you can rely on us for child care ANYTIME you need us. No appointment needed, no set schedule, and reservations are not required. You only pay for the time you need, when you need it! We also offer prepay discount packages to make it even more affordable!

What qualifications do your staff have?
All of our are CPR & First Aid Certified and pass thorough background tests.
How much does it cost?
After the registration process is complete, our Drop-In rate is $11.00/hr per child.
With enrollment (an annual fee of $25.00 per family) you will receive priority reservations for your child(ren), special promotions and discounts for Green Kids and the Melting Pot, and the ability to purchase prepaid package hours at a significant savings. For families with more than one child you will also be eligible for a multi-child discount, applied when more than one child is in our center.

What are the payment options?
We accept cash, check, debit, and credit.
Do I need reservations?
No! Reservations are not needed, but we will certainly welcome them.
How long can my children stay?
We are a drop-in play facility and not a daycare, so we do have restrictions on the length of time your child can play. Children younger than two can stay up to four hours at a time. Children older than two can stay up to seven hours. NC law requires that you be available by telephone and within 20 minutes of our facility in the event that your child needs to be picked up.
What happens if I arrive after you've closed?
Please be curtious to our closing staff and arrive before closing. There is a $1.00 charge per minute, per child when you arrive after closing.
Will you administer medication?
No, Green Kids does not administer regular medications of any kind. Certain life saving medications (EpiPen) will be administered.
